A recent student hip-hop showcase, Vision and Voice: A smash success!

Vision and Voice, a recent student hip-hop showcase performance from late summer  was an incredible success from top to bottom at Mill Hill Playhouse in Trenton, N.J.

The show featured wonderful performances from our middle and high school aged students, with two dance numbers, four individual spoken word pieces, one large group spoken word piece, and an absolutely PACKED playhouse full of friends, family, and members of the Trenton community coming in to see what our students have done.

The playhouse thanks students, their caregivers, Vision and Voice Camp Coordinator Johanna Tolentino and her talented team of teaching artists (Phillip, Nico, Lucas, Pete, Jack), and the generous grants from the state and donations from folks like you that allowed us to put on this show!

They appreciate Romeo’s Pizza in Plainsboro, N.J., for donating the pizza for the students’ wrap party! We had a wonderful time celebrating the hard work put in creating and rehearsing this uniquely personal performance.

All throughout our Vision and Voice program, in addition to our regular teaching artists, we brought in special guest instructors who are also out there doing the work creating specialized hip-hop art… we kicked things off with a special presentation and workshop with Trenton’s very own Poor Righteous Teachers, and we also brought in Chesney Snow to lead a workshop on beatboxing, Shanika Boston to lead a workshop on hip-hop dance, and Leon Rainbow to teach the students basics of tagging in the world of graffiti art.⁣

Huge thank you to each of our guest instructors for bringing their gifts to even greater enhance what our hip-hop summer camp program helped to build!⁣

‘Chicken for Linda’ wins 2023 Animation Is Film grand prize

Animation Is Film has announced the 2023 winners of its annual film festival, with “Chicken for Linda!,” directed by Chiara Malta and Sébastien Laudenbach, winning the grand prize.

The film also took home the audience award. The special jury prize went to Pablo Berger’s “Robot Dreams.” In the short categories, “Letter to a Pig,” directed by Tal Kantor, won the grand prize. “Wild Summon,” directed by Karni Arieli and Saul Freed, won the special jury prize.

The in-competition feature films included “Art College 1994,” “Chicken for Linda!,” “The Concierge,” “Mars Express,” “Phoenix: Reminiscence of Flower,” “Robot Dreams” and “Sirocco and the Kingdom of the Winds and the Summer.”

Opening night film “The Boy and the Heron” and closing night film “Chicken Run: Dawn of the Nugget” screened out of competition and were not eligible for prizes.

“Chicken for Linda!” follows a mother, Paulette, who goes to extreme lengths to make a meal of chicken and peppers for her daughter, Linda, who requested the meal after Paulette unjustly punished her. The dish reminds her of her father; feeling guilty and dealing with a general strike that shut down stores, Paulette will do anything to get a chicken for Linda. The film comes from the U.S. distributor GKIDS.

“With ‘Chicken for Linda,’ Sébastien Laudenbach and Chiara Malta honor the challenges and rewards of being a single parent in a hectic world, employing a visually original artistic style through which lively brush strokes and daubs of color bring relatable human characters (and one very flustered chicken) to vibrant life,” the jury said in a statement.

“Robot Dreams,” which will be released by Neon, is based on Sara Varon’s graphic novel. The film tracks “the adventures and misfortunes of Dog and Robot in NYC during the ’80s.”

“In a poignant mix of humor and pathos, director Pablo Berger adapts Sara Varon’s graphic novel, showing how people and places shape our lives, while paying homage to New York City in the 1980s,” the jury said of “Robot Dreams.” “That he conveys this through pantomime and animation, without using dialogue, is all the more remarkable.”

For more information on the festival, which ran from Oct. 18-22 at the TCL Chinese 6 Theatres in Hollywood, visit animationisfilm.com.

Houston music artist, DOM releases 2nd single from new ‘SDA’ EP

HOUSTON, TexasSinger, producer, and rapper, DOM is the alter ego of  artist Dominique Side.  She has become known for her fierce voice and music with undeniable boss energy. Over the summer DOM put out a wild music video to accompany the title track of her new “SDA” EP.

It’s already received over 300k views, becoming a viral visual sensation. Now, she’s released “ION Need,” another bad b*tch bomb track with a nasty beat produced by DJ Chose.

In 2021, DOM dropped her first EP “IRL,”  a full concept album following the journey of a woman pushed to the edge by a cheating partner. Critics called it a “deliciously deranged, dark and sexy rollercoaster ride,” songs from “IRL” appeared on the radio, soundtracks, and fashion retail stores.

Dominique stayed busy the last 2 years, creating her own luxury vegan clothing line, “Nikki Green” and working on numerous projects at her co-owned Vgn Bae Music Group. Returning to the studio in 2023, DOM delivered a new, super twerk-able single entitled “SDA” featuring Erica Banks. The music video was called “gloriously bootylicious” and “showed she’ll have her cake and eat it too.”

“ION Need” continues the vibes of female empowerment, sexuality, and success. As usual, DOM’s lyrics are infectious, calling out scrubs, and reminding us she’s a boss with her own car, own house, bags, bottles and tags to pop, so she doesn’t need a man for any of that nonsense. With the “SDA” EP slated for later this year, fans can continue looking forward to new music from DOM.

Darren Aronofsky’s Sphere movie credits all 2,000 crew members on screen at once

Darren Aronofsky’s Sphere film, “Postcard From Earth,” is responsible for establishing all kinds of historic cinematic firsts — like the fact that it is the only movie ever to be released in 18K resolution on a screen that spans 160,000 square feet.

A portion of the credits for Darren Aronofsky’s film ‘Postcard From Earth,’ now playing at Sphere in Las Vegas Variety

But movie buffs will particularly enjoy one first that doesn’t fully reveal itself until the very last 90 seconds or so of the 50-minute running time, in the massive Las Vegas dome where the film just premiered.

The end credits begin appearing in the middle of the screen, as one would expect — or at least in what counts as the middle, if your field of vision is trained forward and not skyward. And then the credits expand out from there, bit by bit, until a substantial portion of the LED screen is filled by the entire list of names of people who worked on “Postcard From Earth,” all at once.

And yes, in 18K resolution, all of those thousands of names are completely legible, as tiny as they might seem in the overall scheme — or Sphere — of things.

Aronofsky smiles slightly as he tells Variety about the unusual, not-soon-to-be-repeated gambit:

“They were like, ‘You want to do a roll or something?’ I was like, ‘You know, actually, it might be just kind of interesting to stick everyone’s name up there.’ And I think it’s 2,000 names.

“The nice thing about that,” he adds, “is we’re able to get the credits done in about 90 seconds, which is great, too.”

Mind-blowing shots of purple mountain majesties are one thing. But a single-screen testimonial to the thousands of villagers it takes to build a film, on a screen roughly 35 stories high? For film-biz workers, that may be the ultimate trip.

“Postcard From Earth” is currently playing at the newly opened Vegas venue as the anchor of The Sphere Experience, on days when U2 does not have a performance booked in the dome in the evening.

Read the rest of Variety‘s Q&A with Aronofsky about the making of the film here: “Darren Aronofsky on His Sphere Film, ‘Postcard From Earth’: ‘I Had No Idea What an 18K Image Would Look Like, Four Football Fields Large.’

‘Our Flag Means Death:’ Creator on how the pirate queens’ fiery arrival heralds a new start for Stede and Blackbeard

For once, Stede Bonnet and Blackbeard aren’t the most dysfunctional pirate couple on the deck of Max’s comedy series, “Our Flag Means Death.”

In Season 2’s fourth episode, titled “Fun and Games,” that distinction belongs to legendary pirates Anne Bonny (Minnie Driver) and Mary Read (Rachel House). As the series has done with the shared history between the real-life Stede and Blackbeard, “Our Flag Means Death” interprets the fearsome women pirates as a couple. But they’ve been at the whole dating thing a lot longer than the boys.

Anne and Mary are running a jungle-bound antique shop when Stede (Rhys Darby) and Blackbeard (Taika Waititi) stumble upon them during a lover’s spat. The long-awaited reunion of the couple –– after Stede abandoned their plans to run away to China in the Season 1 finale –– is off a bumpy start to say the least. A barely alive Blackbeard (who’s also called Ed) headbutts Stede before the crew votes to kick the leather-clad pirate off the Revenge for his recent rash of bloody crimes.

Banished to a nearby island, the wayward Blackbeard runs into his friends Mary and Anne, who have retired their pirating ways for a more domesticated life of antiquing and passive aggressive remarks. When Stede and Blackbeard find themselves invited for dinner, the bored Mary and Anne take the chance to playfully poke and prod at their guests’ relationship issues.

But given the chance, Stede apologizes to Ed for not following through on their plan, telling him that he loves everything about him. Things seem promising for the pair — that is, until Anne and Mary’s own grievances toward each other lead their former to burn down their house.

Series creator David Jenkins tells Variety the poignant “Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?”-inspired episode will allow Stede and Blackbeard to embrace something audiences haven’t seen yet — a real relationship.

“They have never had to be an acknowledged couple where they aren’t the focus and the energy suck of everything,” he says. “It is kind of being like the parents of a family in a way. It’s about the kids, and not always about your emotional drama all the time. For them to settle into something resembling a midlife for however brief is the struggle of the second half of the season.”

Speaking of the kids, the disparate crew of the Revenge was reunited as well, but soon went to war over their own unspoken issues. To break down the episode, Jenkins spoke with Variety about casting Driver and House for the iconic roles, whether Buttons’ surreal transformation into a bird will be his swan song, and why you can’t just put a pirate family back together without some hurt feelings.

Why was now the perfect time for Stede and Blackbeard to confront their issues?

The way I like to look at a season is in threes. The end of the first act is when they find each other, and this is the beginning of the second act. They’ve found each other, but they are pissed. Stede thought it was going to be [Kate Bush’s] “This Woman’s Work,” but, in reality, it is this headbutt –– literally. Again, he has to deal with another partner that he has fucked over, and one that is mad to see him. But this time, he has to make it work. This time, he is invested in making it work. In working on this episode, I think it was interesting to see Stede confront the reality of what Blackbeard says, “Did you just expect me to melt into your arms?” To see him have to work for it, and see Ed not let him back in because he’s been burned and done dirty — I like to see that tension.

Audiences, especially queer audiences, so warmly embraced the love story between Stede and Blackbeard in Season 1, and Season 2 has proven it is the soul of the show. Was that always the plan, or did the reaction help influence the longevity of their relationship?

It was always part of the pitch. For some reason, the real Blackbeard took Stede Bonnet under his wing and we don’t know why. He was the best pirate, and Stede was the worst pirate, and then for whatever reason they traveled together — and we don’t know why. But like, they were together and, to me, that is the reason to make the show. The pirate genre is fun, but I wasn’t dying to make a pirate show. Taika wasn’t dying to make a pirate show. But the thing that was interesting to me was that Stede finds love, and he finds it with Blackbeard. What can they teach each other, and why do these two very different men fall in love? For the second season, it was just fun to go headlong into it, and not ramp up to it.

Is part of that fun getting to do an episode like this where you bring in Anne Bonny (Minnie Driver) and Mary Read (Rachel House), who give you a chance to call out the things Stede and Ed aren’t saying to each other?

This episode is based on a very, very thumbnail sketch of “Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?.” Anne and Mary are Martha and George, and they are Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton. They are the experienced couple that has the neophyte young couple stumble onto them, and they are going to torture them. As Rachel House’s character says at the end, “You’re like 14-year-old boys. You’re children. You’re just at the beginning of this.” And I think the great thing about “Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf” is that it’s terrifying. You look at this marriage, and it’s fucked up. But what’s also beautiful about that story is that they are in love. You get to the end of it and it’s disturbing, and they are so mean — but at the end of that, they are in love. As the younger couple, they are asking what their relationship is going to be. For Stede and Blackbeard to look at a more mature and experienced couple and ask themselves “Are we going to give this a shot?” is a good way to orient them.

Taylor Swift mania reigns as ‘Eras Tour’ opens at New York City’s busiest movie theater: ‘I’m so excited I’m sweating’

Jennifer Gamez and Kellie Marsalli were strangers until a chance encounter at AMC Lincoln Square 13 on Friday night.

As one ascended and the other descended the escalator at one of New York City’s busiest movie theaters, they swapped friendship bracelets to commemorate being among the first to watch the “Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour” concert film.

“I was admiring her bracelet selection and her cat shirt,” Gamez, 33, says. Marsalli, 53, wearing a “Lover”-inspired pink suit over a feline-printed top, adds, “That’s the whole thing with Taylor Swift. She brings all ages, all backgrounds, all different personalities together.”

There’s no missing the Swifties in the room, likely decked out in pastels, glitter and concert tees. Inside the lobby, the energy was palpable as new friends took pictures of each other and old pals posed for selfies with posters. Thanks to Swift’s global appeal, her concert film — which documents the pop star’s three-hour, record-breaking stadium tour — has become the movie event of the fall. With $100 million in worldwide advance ticket sales, “Eras Tour” is expected to land one of the biggest opening weekends of the year. It’s arriving in theaters as not just a blockbuster but a full-fledged cultural event.

“This is something we haven’t had in quite a long time,” says Jeffry Ramirez, an AMC Theatres staffer who was scanning tickets on Friday evening. “We had Barbenheimer,” he adds, referring to this summer’s popular double feature of “Barbie” and “Oppenheimer.” But this is a different type of excitement. Everyone has been dancing in the theaters and singing songs in line.”

Even the employees are joining in the fun. “One guest gave me a friendship bracelet, which is cool as a male who doesn’t know too much about Swift,” says Ramirez, who fielded at least a dozen questions in the span of eight minutes about the availability of branded popcorn buckets. “We have a full house all night long.”

Several moviegoers chose AMC’s Upper West Side location because it features one of the biggest Imax screens in the country. As fate would have it, the name of the theater comes as numerically loaded as anything in Swift’s world. “I hate to say, but Lincoln Square 13,” Marsalli says, emphasizing the pop star’s lucky number. Another funny coincidence: the Imax auditorium is (you guessed it) theater 13.

Fans are treating the theatrical experience like another (less expensive) stop on her sold-out tour. And instead of strictly enforcing no-talking or-texting rules, exhibitors — at Swift’s suggestion — are encouraging the audience to sing and dance and even take videos of all the fun inside the theater.

“I’m so excited that I’m sweating,” says Kodi Haney, 27. “I love her so much, it’s kind of scary.” He’s already seen the concert twice, but he and his friend, Alexis Neuville, 27, are eager to relive the experience with a better view. “My seats were really far up, so I didn’t get to see as much of her facial expressions,” Neuville says.

And she looks forward to remembering the show this time. “You kind of black out [from excitement] when you’re at the tour,” she says. “So it’s cool to see it again in a seat with popcorn.”

Likitha Yerraguntla, 21, felt strongly about watching the film on its first day of release despite attending multiple nights of “Eras Tour” at New Jersey’s MetLife Stadium. “I didn’t want to see spoilers,” she says. “She’s putting it out on Friday the 13th for a reason. So I’m going to go Friday the 13th.”

For some moviegoers, opening night is the first of many planned trips to see “Eras Tour” on the big screen. Jared Bass, 25, bought tickets to three showtimes (on Thursday, Friday and Saturday) this weekend alone. He admits that although nothing compares to experiencing the actual concert, he was pleasantly surprised at the ambiance in the theater. “It was full of joy and happiness,” says Bass, who brought 83 homemade friendship bracelets to trade with other Swifties.

“Is it nice to watch the movie? Yeah,” he says. “But the atmosphere is what brings me back.”

‘Priscilla’ red carpet canceled and Hollywood screening venue changed

The red carpet for Sofia Coppola’s “Priscilla” premiere in L.A. on Oct. 9, has been canceled amid current world events, distributor A24 confirmed.

Furthermore, the venue for the screening has been changed because of a dispute between IATSE and the Hollywood Legion Theater, which is a part of the veterans’ organization American Legion.

A representative for the film released a statement about the red carpet saying, “Out of respect for the events going on in the world, we will be forgoing a red carpet for the ‘Priscilla’ Los Angeles Premiere.”

With escalating violence in Israel and Palestine, the “Priscilla” carpet is not the first to be canceled. The Academy Museum also decided to forgo the red carpet at the annual fundraising gala, which was scheduled for Saturday, before choosing to postpone the event altogether “out of respect for the devastating conflict and loss of life happening overseas.”

Regarding the location change for the “Priscilla” premiere, the projectionists’ union IATSE Local 11 started picketing the property Sept. 14. IATSE business representative Ronald R. Valentine told the Hollywood Reporter, which first reported the dispute, “American Legion Post 43 has committed multiple unfair labor practices, most significantly reneging on an agreement reached in April 2023 for a new collective bargaining agreement and misrepresenting the terms of that agreement to its membership.” Valentine continued, “As a result, IATSE Local 33 had no choice but to call a strike.”

With the changing of venues, Valentine said that Local 33 thanks distributor A24 and the team behind “Priscilla” “for their solidarity.”

Amid the ongoing SAG-AFTRA strike, “Priscilla” has been granted an interim agreement allowing its stars to walk the carpet, including Cailee Spaeny and Jacob Elordi who play Priscilla and Elvis Presley. Coppola was also slated to appear on the carpet.

“Priscilla” first premiered at the Venice Film Festival in September to critical acclaim. The new venue for the screening has yet to be announced.

Resort Aquatica transports readers to tropical paradise full of deadly secrets

NORFOLK, Va. — Calvin Banks had a privileged life laid out neatly in front of him: one that would feature incredible wealth, just like his billionaire father’s. Yet those plans are dashed when he drunkenly totals his Lamborghini and cuts his girlfriend’s life short in one fell swoop.

In Resort Aquatica, Frederic Lee brings glamorous characters and an even more immaculate underwater oasis to life. This enthralling debut explores themes of power, corruption, secrets and survival.

In a scheme to outrun justice, Calvin breaks court orders and sets off for an island resort pocketed within the mystical angles of the Bermuda Triangle. The magnificent Resort Aquatica is an ideal tropical destination built of white marble that rises up in tubular stacks amid the neon seascape.

Upon arrival, Calvin encounters Resort Aquatica’s rich and savvy owner, Eve Rampant, who clearly exploits her bigwig guests and poor workers for the sole purpose of profit. Eve lords over the palatial estate heavy-handedly, yet with a beautiful smiling face and the assistance of her five obedient daughters.
To Calvin’s awe, he discovers that the Rampant women are devious mermaids who naturally spring up from the seas on temporary legs each summer. Then, out of nowhere, Calvin finds himself entangled in a binding contract cooked up by Eve that forces him to serve the whims of the Rampant women for decades to come — and keep his mouth shut about their scaly secret. Can Calvin find a way to free himself from this contract and escape Resort Aquatica?

“My book offers a fresh take on mermaids, presented in a tropical fantasy adventure full of deadly secrets, romance and deceit,” Lee said. “It’s the perfect literary escape!”

‘Gen V’ got ‘A Lot of Notes’ on that dolphin-blowhole sex scene, and EP explains all the bloody puppet mayhem

SPOILER ALERT: This article contains spoilers for Episode 5 of “Gen V,” titled “Welcome to the Monster Club,” now streaming on Prime Video.

Even superheroes can party a little too hard. The heroes of “Gen V” wake up wondering what the hell happened last night in this latest episode, but what seems like some alcohol-induced memory loss turns out to be diabolical mind wiping.

The culprit comes from within our core group of heroes, when it’s revealed that Cate (Maddie Phillips) was erasing people’s memories on Dean Shetty’s (Shelley Conn) command.

Last week’s episode ended abruptly, just as Marie (Jaz Sinclair), Emma (Lizze Broadway), Jordan (London Thor and Derek Luh), Andre (Chance Perdomo) and Cate were close to getting answers on the mysterious supe program called The Woods. But suddenly, the screen cut to black and the heroes found themselves waking up at a wild house party, with Marie in bed with Jordan and Cate with Andre. Huh?

The college kids assume it was just a night of blackout binge-drinking, but then their suspicions turn to Rufus (Alexander Calvert), the psychic creep who uses his powers to take advantage of women. Rufus denies the allegations, though, and Marie discovers a tracking device embedded in her neck. She then realizes it was Cate all along who had been using her mind control powers to wipe the memories of her classmates. Before Andre can kill Rufus, Cate confesses her complicity in Shetty’s scheme, shattering her friends’ trust.

The only person who doesn’t get his mind wiped is Sam (Asa Germann), who is on the run from Shetty’s Woods guards. Isolated and alone, Sam has mental break, and starts seeing the intruders as puppets. Yes, puppets. Fans of “The Muppets” should look away, because what follows is a brutal, bloody massacre, in which all the blood, guts and bones are made of felt and red confetti. Sam tears the puppet guards limb from limb in, and once the mayhem is over the show reveals the bodies and carnage left behind.

In an interview with Variety, executive producer Michele Fazekas breaks down the puppet fight scene, Cate’s betrayal and a couple of brand new supes who get a brief, but graphic, first appearance at the party.

Where did the idea for the puppet massacre come from?

Every outrageous, crazy thing you see on this show, or on “The Boys” comes from a real place of drama and emotion and character. We wanted to show Sam almost decompensating, and under so much stress. How can we show that in a way that we haven’t seen before? That came with the writers’ room. We had the scene with Jason Ritter and the puppet — that was great. I was really happy that everyone signed on to what on the surface sounds like a ridiculous idea, which is we’re going to shoot a fight sequence exactly as if it’s a visceral human action fight sequence, and the only differences is it’s also with puppets but treated exactly as if it’s a real fight sequence.

Where did you get the puppets?

The head of our makeup department goes, “Oh, I can do that. I’ve done this before.” How is that possible? So he built them all. We hired puppeteers to come in and help us, because we built that set. You can’t really go out on location and shoot something like that. The puppeteers wore a green sort of body sock and then we erased them in post. I couldn’t believe that.

How many unique puppets are there?

At least four or six guards. There’s the Sam puppet, the Emma puppet and we also have a Deep puppet.

Last week, you and Eric Kripke mentioned that the writers pulled a lot from their own college experiences. Was there any real-life inspiration behind the opening party sequence?

It’s like the supe-ified version of going on a bender in college and not remembering what you did. Eric Kripke talked a lot about his 21st birthday in college. A lot of what really works well in “Gen V” is taking those typical college experiences and putting our spin on it. That’s why for a little while they are chalking it up to “Oh, I guess I just got really sick last night.” But they quickly start to put pieces together, like maybe that’s not what happened. If you’re binge-drinking in college it’s probably not an uncommon experience. We liked the “Gen V” version of that, and it’s a great cover story for Cate.

We’re briefly introduced to two new supes while they’re hooking up. One is a guy who can make his hand vibrate incredibly fast, and the other is a girl with a dolphin blowhole on her back. Do they have names, and when will we see them again?

I don’t believe they have names. The dolphin girl, that was when we got a lot of notes for how much we could see, which is somewhat amusing because, I mean — it’s a hole in her back. So you’re not actually seeing anything. But I really love how it seems gross and graphic, but it’s also not a real thing, so it’s kind of perfect.

Marie and Jordan awkwardly navigate their new relationship in this episode. And it’s made more complex because Jordan can change their gender. How did you decide when to portray Jordan as a male and as a female when they’re with Marie?

We are really intentional about that. In a subsequent episode, you’re gonna see Jordan talk about that, and why they decide to become male for certain things and female for other things. It is intentional: Their powers are very gender specific. As a male, Jordan is like a brick wall, a tank, immovable and can withstand a really strong impact. As a woman, Jordan can expel this energy blast. It’s like offensive and defense. You heard in Episode 3, they were born male, but they see themselves as both, and it sort of depends on how they feel in a given moment.

In the end, it’s revealed that Cate is the one wiping her friends’ memories and causing the blackouts. It’s a major betrayal, — so can she really be trusted anymore?

It’s complicated. When Cate reveals herself to Marie and says “I’m so sorry,” she really is. There’s a part of her that really loves her friend. It’s really hard for her. A lot of this is going to come out in subsequent episodes, but is she trying to protect them?

I like that her motivations aren’t just like, “I’m evil.” No, she’s doing it for a reason.’I like that her motivations aren’t just like, “I’m evil.” No, she’s doing it for a reason.

About the New York Jets

The New York Jets were founded in 1959 as the New York Titans, an original member of the American Football League (AFL). The Jets won Super Bowl III, defeating the NFL’s Baltimore Colts in 1969. In 1970, the franchise joined the National Football League in the historic AFL–NFL merger that set the foundation for today’s league. As part of a commitment to its fan base through innovation and experiences, the team has created initiatives such as, its trailblazing Jets Rewards program, a state-of-the-art mobile app, and 1 JD Entertainment, a comprehensive content platform that gives fans greater access to the team across all digital and social platforms. The organization takes great pride in a long-standing, year-round commitment to their community. These programs are funded by the New York Jets Foundation and look to positively influence the lives of young men and women in the tri-state area, particularly in disadvantaged communities. The organization supports the efforts of the Lupus Research Alliance, youth football and numerous established charitable organizations and causes sponsored by the NFL. The New York Jets play in MetLife Stadium, which opened in 2010, and are headquartered at the Atlantic Health Jets Training Center in Florham Park, New Jersey.
