Errol Musk speaks exclusively to Al Arabiya English on Elon vs Trump feud amidst comments about Epstein
Errol Musk warns son Elon, “I did send him a message…telling him, make sure this fizzles out”
Errol Musk, father of tech billionaire Elon Musk, has downplayed the fiery online feud between his son and U.S. Prez Donald Trump, calling it a brief clash between “alphas” that will “fizzle out in a few days.”
Speaking exclusively to Al Arabiya English from the Delhi Airport lounge, Musk described the high-profile exchange that made global headlines as “a bit silly” and driven by stress and fatigue among the world’s most powerful individuals.

“When people have been through a great deal of stress… eventually people reach a point where they lash out,” Musk said. “Even at the highest levels, people struggle to find common ground.”
When asked whether the public row could lead to lasting damage between the two figures, Musk was confident it would not:
“Yes, of course,” he replied when asked if they would reconcile. “I did send him a message… telling him, make sure this fizzles out.”
Errol Musk on Elon’s Trump jab about Jeffrey Epstein connection
Elon Musk’s recent comments about Jeffrey Epstein—used in his online spat with Trump—also came under scrutiny during the interview. Errol Musk admitted he was puzzled by the move:
“I have no idea what he was thinking… I can only imagine that’s just a silly mistake,” he said, suggesting stress—not strategy—was to blame.
Musk acknowledged that Elon was concerned about what he sees as Democratic lawmakers using financial incentives to sway legislation—an issue believed to have ignited the online confrontation.
“It’s like elephant bulls or alphas having a go at each other,” says Errol about Trump vs Elon feud
Still, Errol Musk believes the broader picture is one of political performance and ego:
“It’s like elephant bulls or alphas having a go at each other,” he said, adding no one is truly blameless, quoting: “Let the innocent person cast the first stone.”
Having just returned from a three-week visit to the US, Musk also claimed overwhelming grassroots support for Trump:
“I would like to say 80 percent, but actually 100 percent [are] behind Trump,” he stated.
